Do you ever get that feeling when a memory is so powerful it’s overwhelming??

When you have a picture in your mind but it’s more than just the image, you also have the feelings in your fingertips, the smells, the sounds, everything?

I have this image stuck in my mind of a morning not too long ago and I can’t shake it. It’s like that moment was seared in to my memory and when I close my eyes I see it.

Everything is so clear. Everything is so vivid. Everything is so real.

I don’t know if I want it to stay or if I want it to slip away. It scares me. It scares me how many other memories there are. Its scares me how powerful they are.

OKAY!!! THIS IS THE BIGGEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE EVER!

I went out with a couple of friends two days ago to this new pizza place in Riyadh that does these insane pizzas that are 26”/76cm in diameter. I used my Kindle as a reference for the size.

They have a challenge where if a single person can eat a whole one on their own they get it for free, they name on the wall, and a t-shirt. No one has succeeded yet. I ate three and a half slices but I feel I could have eaten more. I don’t think I could eat eight, though…

It was pretty tasty too.

The kindle is the size of a regular paperback book.

So… my house mate is selling a camera

I have a desire to be a photographer. I love taking pictures and have been after a decent camera for a long time. I always figured I’d buy one when I went back home in the summer after researching one for a while. The thing is, my house mate is selling his to help pay for a new car and I’m seriously considering buying it off him…

I ate so much (with pictures!)

So, the other day I wrote about getting a credit card. When I got the card I realised it came with a 150SAR voucher/coupon for a few different stores. One of them was an American restaurant not too far from where I live. We had to go.
