My diet has gone to hell these last few days…
My food intake over the last 6 weeks has been shocking. I readily admit it. During Ramadan I was only eating once a day and on some days that felt like a chore too. Since Ramadan has finished the eating once a day thing is mostly true but it’s just that I’m eating a little bit earlier in the day.
Over the last week, though, I’ve been eating horrible junk food everyday.
I don’t have a weighing scale at the moment but more people are saying I’m looking skinny than they ever have before. My face was looking gaunt to me last week and that’s not a good look for anyone. I’ve lost a lot of weight since I got back to Saudi.
These last few days haven’t helped at all. Today and yesterday I went to McDonald’s for dinner. On Friday we ordered KFC. I don’t mean regular meals either. I EAT A LOT :( I usually get two burgers and large fries and a large (diet!!) drink.
I’m really disappointed in the way I’ve been eating so I’ve decided to make a change. I went to the super market today and I bought lots of fruit and I’m going to start eating a whole lot more of that. I’m going to start eating more times a day too. It’s not good enough just binging once on incredibly unhealthy food.
I want to start working out and I think I’ll get back on my squats, push-ups, and sit-ups programme from a few months ago. I want to get back in to shape. Being skinny might look good (at times) but it doesn’t feel good. I want to feel healthy again! I’ve done it so many times before. I can do it again. At least I’m really light right now and don’t need to worry about losing any more weight. I need to gain weight and do it the right way.
