I used to be addicted to myspace (yes, I’m *that old*) and then facebook came along and took over completely. Recently I’ve totally fallen out of love with facebook but the fact of the matter is that it is still the best network of people I know in real life.

I’ve been telling tumblr for weeks and months about my plans to go home and how March 1st can’t come quickly enough. Tonight I realised that I hadn’t actually told facebook. There were so many people who had no idea about my impending return.

Anyway, I set my status as “I’m coming back to England forever ever in 3 weeks and 2 days” and the response I got was really great. I got a few messages from awesome people wanting to meet up when I’m back and I’m looking forward to it.

Time to make the very most of my last few days in Riyadh.
